On Feb. 9, 2023, the Ministry of Finance announced the tariff rate quota (TRQ) for the year 2023 applicable to the importation of pork belly (1,800MT), mackerels (377MT), sardines (164MT), jacks (191MT), pineapples (2,000MT), prepared meat of fowls (1,200MT), liquid milk (3,000MT), bananas (1,500MT), raw sugar (39,000MT), and refined sugar (21,000MT) originating in the Republic of Panama.
