MINISTRY OF FINANCE Order is hereby given, for the amendment on partial articles of “Regulations Governing the Means of Bonded Transportation”
Customs Administration of the MOF stated that, in order to comply with the amendment on Article 85 of the Customs Act, the MOF announced the amendment on partial articles of “Regulations Governing the Means of Bonded Transportation” on December 22, 2022. In accordance with the amended regulations, violations of the regulations governing the proceedings with registration change, certificate application, and renewal, or bonded transport use and management, shall result in an increased fine of not less than NT$6,000 and not more than NT$30,000. Moreover, in the case of penalties, Customs shall warn or impose a fine and may order the offender to improve before a certain period of time; the fine shall be charged per violation in case of failure to improve before the given deadline. If there is no improvement after three penalties, a suspension of loading privileges may be adopted for a period of not more than six months or his or her registration may be repealed.
